Skill and Professional Experience

Miguel is founding partner of Wardon IP Group. 

Among the responsibilities that I fulfill on a day to day basis I counsel clients regarding the protection of their intellectual property assets.

Administrative Law, legal strategy and procedures involving objection to resolutions of branches of all three levels of government, including objections, rejections, fines, among others.

Life Sciences industry, importing and exporting of Health Inputs (including medical devices), foodstuff and beverages, and also the review for compliance of the labels and tags of products in accordance with the Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).

Additionally, handling all matters pertaining to Licensing of trademarks and technology, including the drafting and revision of agreements and also all matters involving licensee compliance and control. Furthermore, he is also in charge of counseling the clients of the firm in matters regarding incorporation of companies, corporate planning, proxies and powers of attorney, amongst other responsibilities.

Expertise in all type of intellectual property matters, life sciences and licensing of trademarks for commercial purposes and licensing of technology including working with several government agencies including the Federal Electricity Commission or CFE for its acronym in Spanish, by counseling in transfer of technology issues and its regulation.

All matters related to copyrights of the firm, trademark prosecution and litigation, including planning and protection IP Portfolios, franchising, licensing, regulatory affairs regarding sanitary laws and compliance, patent prosecution and patent protection.

Subjects related to administrative legal affairs, public biddings for the biggest projects of infrastructure in Mexico, immigration law and corporate law.
