Graduate in Law from the Faculty of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. 

Emmanuel has a Specialization in Intellectual Property Law from the Postgraduate Studies Division of the Faculty of Law, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he obtained Honorable Mention.

Since 1999, he has worked at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, holding different positions in the Divisional Directorate for the Protection of Intellectual Property, emphasizing having served as Departmental Coordinator of Nullities since November 2001, his last assignment was that of Holder of the Central Regional Office based in Puebla, a position he held from November 2008 to August 2015.

He has attended various training courses on intellectual property at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, Japanese Copyright Office, European Patent Office, Canadian Intellectual Property Office, Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (now called the European Union Intellectual Property Office) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as well as various courses in Mexico that include a Diploma in Amparo and another in Legal Interpretation.

Tutor of the General Course on Intellectual Property DL101s taught by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) from 2008 to 2015.

Professor at the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla from 1999 to 2013, he has been a speaker and lecturer at Higher Education Institutions, Research Centers, Business Chambers, fairs and exhibitions. 

Emmanuel has represented the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property before WIPO and before the World Trade Organization (WTO).
